Donating stock to Rubicon Programs is easy to do and all stock gifts are tax deductible. We are available to help you follow a few simple steps. Call or email us for guidance on making the stock transfer and to notify us when you make the gift so we can send an acknowledgement letter for your records. Celebrate 40 Years with Rubicon!
This year Rubicon will celebrate 40 years of positive impact in some of the hardest hit communities in the East Bay. Our annual gala, Rubicon Honors, takes place Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the beautiful and historic Oakland Rotunda. Rubicon Honors raises critical funds that enable us to serve more than 3,000 people all year, every year.

Leave a Legacy
An excellent way to entrust a portion of your estate to Rubicon is through a planned gift. There are many planned giving vehicles available – we recommend you contact your attorney for more information. Following are just a few simple ways you can make a planned gift to Rubicon:
- Estate Planning: The best gift you can give yourself is to have an up-to-date will. The easiest way leave part of your legacy to Rubicon Programs is to name the organization in your will.
- Trust: Establish a charitable trust that guarantees income and provides you with a tax deduction.
- Retirement and/or Life Insurance: Make Rubicon Programs a beneficiary of a retirement account or life insurance policy.
Rubicon will use your donation to help people facing some of life’s biggest challenges: recovering from mental illness and working to become financially independent. Your support helps Rubicon serve more than 3,000 people throughout the East Bay.
For every dollar you donate, 95% goes directly to programs that guide people to jobs, housing, and health services.
